Terms of use
Plain terms for a plain tool. Using BatchCheck means you agree with them.
1. What BatchCheck is
BatchCheck reads the batch cards shown by the Instacart Shopper app on your phone and shows an estimate of whether a batch meets the minimums you set. It is an independent tool made by Thiago, an individual in Florida, United States. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Instacart (Maplebear Inc.).
2. Estimates, not promises
Every verdict is an estimate built from the numbers on the card and the minimums you chose. Shopping and driving times are averages; tips, distances, tolls and store waits vary. You decide which batches to accept, and you are responsible for that decision and for following Instacart's own rules. BatchCheck does not guarantee any level of earnings.
3. Your account with Instacart
BatchCheck never signs in to Instacart, never uses your Instacart credentials and never taps, accepts or declines anything for you. Whether a third-party reading tool is acceptable under Instacart's terms is Instacart's call; we cannot speak for them, and you use BatchCheck at your own risk in that respect.
4. Price
BatchCheck is free while it is in testing. After launch it is a subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play: $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year, with a free trial managed by the store. Prices in your local currency are shown in the store before you subscribe. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow the store's rules; you can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, and the subscription stays active until the end of the paid period. Shoppers who created a BatchCheck account before launch get three months of the subscription free.
5. Your data
What the app reads, stores and sends is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
6. Acceptable use
Do not modify, redistribute or reverse-engineer the app, do not use it to automate any action in another app, and do not use it in a way that breaks the law or another service's terms.
7. No warranty, limited liability
BatchCheck is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost earnings, deactivations, missed batches or any indirect damage arising from its use. If the law gives you rights that cannot be limited, those rights apply.
